Girls on the Run® is a life-changing, experiential learning program for girls age eight to thirteen. The program combines training for a 3.1 mile running event with self-esteem enhancing, uplifting lessons. The goal of the program is to encourage positive emotional, social, mental, spiritual and physical development. At Girls on the Run, running is not just a metaphor; it inspires and motivates girls, encourages lifelong health and fitness, and builds confidence through accomplishment.
