Run SMART Kids is back at The Anderson School for the 4th season! Our curriculum this spring will be geared towards a 3k race at the end of the program. 12 weeks on Tuesdays – 7:15AM to 8:30AM (3/20/12-6/12/12) *No class (4/10) Registration documents are attached below.
The Run SMART Project was founded in 2005 by Brian Rosetti and Vince Sherry as a way for elite distance runners to give back to the running community. Coaches come to The Anderson School on a weekly basis and train students in grades 4, 5 and 6 in running form, technique, and skill development. Students compete in different games and events to keep practices challenging.
Each student will learn about the various facets of a proper running program while training under personalized coaching. The goal of our program is to promote health and wellness through our staff’s experience as elite runners and private running coaches. We want to emphasize that running can be the fun, challenging and rewarding.
